un dia feliz, een feestdag
Friday seven of November 2008. Today is a very special day, Hilary will at last have found with her mom, she comes from the Netherlands to pick up and take it to Hilary's home, we are all a little nervous, Ana this Hyper active, going from one place to another in the home doing things that you want everything perfect, Hilary looks without knowing full well that happens. We are set to arrive in Malaga airport, ALL NERVOUS, Ana a little concerned (whether Annelies will like Hilary? If Hilary be kind? If they connect ?..... etc.). We arrived at the airport all goes as planned, the flight arrives 25 minutes late (MAS NERVES), and finally Annelies is there, She is also a little nervous as we do, but then we realize that it is a good person, we're going to the waiting car where Hilary and two other companions who traveled with Annelies and Hilary. At last I could see Annelies Hilary, can not contain the excitement and escape some tears, is very exciting, we decided to go to the beach to Annelies and Hilary have their first contact.
Now back to the airport, all ready for departure, was a very short but loaden with emotions, we bid farewell to Hilary, Sena and Leire, Ana is excited and returns to mourn, Annelies returns to being a little nervous about the flight, like everyone
For Annelies. Thank you very much for taking Hilary has, and we hope that you have very special moments, and you acordéis us with love, always remember this event as a HAPPY DAY.
Annelies to explain the story of Hilary, she lived with a man of cubbie the abusive alcoholic who along with his brothers when he was rescued and brought to the Refuge, Hilary had never walked down the street with a leash, she just knew the courtyard of Refuge where he played. And get the most exciting time sitting on the beach Ana, Annelies, Jesus, Hilary, Sena and Leire, was the first contact. Hilary did not want to walk was very scared, but Annelies, has started caressing and talking, little has been little Hilary relaxation, and we could start the first tour of the lot which will now have Hilary, was INCREDIBLE
In a few minutes and Hilary Annelies were strolling along the beach had CONNECTED, was happiness on the faces of the two, Hylari quiet next to her new mum, and Annelies happy with his little girl.
The rest of the day did fly by too fast, we met a little better, responding to questions from Annelies and the problems that we have understood each day in Spain with the abuse and neglect of animals and the difficulties it can turn to help them, Andalusia is still a place where people mistreat animals and nobody does anything.
